The outbreak has caused a massive lockdown, but it can’t stop you from shopping.

We were all living it up until the recent outbreak that has shut everything down. From stock markets to retail stores, the market has shut down for the next 14 days. The outrageous obsession of stores running out of toilet paper and Trader Joe’s having a line till outside is creating panic and havoc amongst the public. Retail stores like H&M, Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie and many more have given a paid leave to their employees during this crisis. Even Amazon has joined them in order to break the cycle of spreading the germs.

Here are a few tips on how to stay calm and find your favorite things online:-

1. Meditate or exercise rather than indulging in the latest news.

2. Utilize this time to prioritize your needs and create a list of what you want to do when this is all over.

3. You can still shop online in H&M, Zara, Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, etc. Retail stores are still open online.

4. If you’re unable to find food or utilities in Target or Trader Joe, go to your nearest grocery store or hardware stores (eg: Cole hardware). Call them ahead or call a friend to help you.

5. During this period you could also pick up a new hobby that you have been wanting to do.

Covid-19 has forced us to socially distance ourselves from our loved ones but that doesn’t have to stop you from buying your favourite things. Meanwhile we can practice social distancing during this crazy time to flatten the curve and hope for the best.
